Scout lookout is my personal favorite hike in Zion. It is a challenging trail that begins at stop 6 of the Zion Park Shuttle, The Grotto, and leads to the top of the canyon cliff offering expansive views.
The hike begins following the Virgin river and gradually leads you closer to the rock face, turning into switchbacks and eventually leading you into a smaller cool (temperature and just cool) canyon area. After this you are introduced you to the final stretch of switchbacks known as Walters Wiggles. Following the wiggles you are only a few short steps away from the top lookout point.
The trail in the dashboard is slightly distorted, especially in the later half due to the canyon walls disrupting the GPS signal. I wanted to still share this dashboard as believe it can still offer insight to those that wish to explore Scout Lookout.
